Our clinical librarians

Our Clinical Librarian team work with clinicians and their departments. They attend:

• clinical meetings

• medical decision meetings

• educational ward rounds.

They can also hold department journal clubs.

One-to-one and team training sessions are also available in:

• effective literature searching

• evidence-based practice

• critical appraisal

• understanding statistics.

Clinical Librarians also offer an outreach service. This aims to raise awareness of our Library and Knowledge Services to primary care staff in their own surgeries, practices or units.

One of our Clinical Librarians will travel to your place of work to give an introduction to our services and the online resources that we offer.
