Patient drop-off bays are located directly outside the hospital entrances. These are intended for drop-off and pick-up only and we would ask you not to wait or park there as space is limited.
Renal, Headway and Clinical Rehabilitation patients each have limited designated bays located close to those departments. Please speak to your clinical contact for further details.
Staff parking areas are reserved for staff permit holders only – please be careful not to park in one of these as you may be liable to a parking ticket. Please also be mindful of areas signed for restricted use as standard P&D tickets will not be valid in those areas.
Canterbury Medical Centre is a new community GP surgery located just inside the hospital site at the top of Ethelbert Road. It is not linked with East Kent Hospitals University Foundation NHS Trust other than sharing part of our site. Please be very careful not to park in their patient car park which is camera controlled as you will receive a parking ticket from their car park operator.
Weekly permits and parking charges
Weekly permits for use in the barrier car parks can be obtained via the pay stations. Simply press the 'others' button on the pay station display screen and the weekly ticket option will appear. Keep the ticket safe as on subsequent visits, you will need to insert it at the entry barrier to gain access, and again at the exit barrier when you leave.
For details of parking charges, please see parking information and charges.
