Could you take on the Survival challenge for East Kent Hospitals Charity?

Do you fancy getting muddy for money?

East Kent Hospitals Charity has teamed up with Boonies at Betteshanger Park near Deal for Survival 2023 – a fun course of between three and nine kilometres, with more than 100 obstacles along the way and plenty of mud.

The event takes place on Saturday 30 September, and Sunday, 1 October, and anyone who pledges to raise at least £100 for the charity can save 50 per cent on the entry fee.

The team plan to make it an annual event and hope to raise thousands to support patients and staff across East Kent Hospitals.

Charity projects and marketing manager Lizzie Warner said: “We’re hugely excited about this event, which is incredibly muddy and incredibly fun.

“There is no competition and no timing, it’s just about having a great time and completing the course, and getting really muddy along the way.

“You can take part with your family and friends, or why not get a group of workmates together and for some team building with a difference?”

Participants can choose to do one, two or three laps of the three kilometre course, and every entrant will receive a Survival t-shirt.

Entry fees start at £25, and anyone pledging to raise at least £100 for East Kent Hospitals Charity will save 50 per cent.
