Junior Doctor Strikes

The British Medical Association has announced that junior doctors will strike between 7am Thursday 27 June and 7am on  Tuesday 2 July 2024. 

The safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. We are committed to keeping disruption to services to a minimum on these dates and we have measures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of our patients and our staff.

Junior Doctors working for our Trust are eligible to take part in these strikes. We support and respect the right of our staff to take part in this lawful industrial action.

Appointments

We will contact you directly if we need to re-schedule your appointment. However, if you have an appointment on these days, please assume this is going ahead unless you have been told otherwise.

If you need medical attention

If you or someone you care for needs urgent medical care, please do come forward, especially in emergency and life-threatening cases.
