Pharmacy team take on fun inflatable challenge

A team of pharmacists will combine fitness and fun to take part in an inflatable 5k obstacle course.

Kam Sahota, Rebecca Tarrant, Alice Ho, Amy Dalton and family members will take on the course at Brands Hatch on Saturday, 18 May.

The team, who mostly work at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, are hoping to raise £250 for East Kent Hospitals Charity, for projects supporting staff and patients across the Trust.

Kam, who is lead general and specialist medicine pharmacist, said: “It looks like a lot of fun so we are really looking forward to it.

“For us it’s a real opportunity to support each other and build the team outside of work while also raising money for a great cause.”

The team members enjoy keeping fit and regularly take part in runs so decided to try the added challenge of the inflatable obstacles.

There is still time to sign up - registration closes on Wednesday, 8 May. The obstacle course is suitable for everyone, whatever your age or athletic ability.
