
Receive reminders about your appointment in the NHS App
From Wednesday, 2 April all our Outpatient, Acute Child Health and Community Paediatric patients will be able to receive notifications and reminders for appointments on their NHS App.
If you have your notifications switched on in the NHS App, you will receive alert notifications and messages for the following:
Reminder confirmations at 8 days prior to the appointment
Reminder confirmation at 2 day prior to the appointment
You can request to change or cancel your appointment on the NHS App, Patient Portal or by using our change or cancel your appointment form.
If you don't have the NHS App yet, it is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

If your appointment has been rescheduled you could receive multiple notifications for a cancellation and a booking at the same time. Please check your messages carefully.
