What we do
Our urology department looks after the health of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. Our services include:
andrology care for conditions specific to men
functional and reconstructive urology, for patients with bladder and urethra problems
treatment for lower urinary tract symptoms
rapid access clinics for suspected urological cancers and blood in the urine
urological cancer care for:
removal of kidney stones (stone disease) and emergency stone care
community outreach programme
paediatric (children's) urology
robotic prostatectomy
perioperative care for older people undergoing surgery (POPS)
enhanced recovery after surgery programme.
