Urology Cancer Nurse Specialists

What we do

Our urology department looks after the health of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. Our services include:

  • andrology care for conditions specific to men

  • functional and reconstructive urology, for patients with bladder and urethra problems

  • treatment for lower urinary tract symptoms

  • rapid access clinics for suspected urological cancers and blood in the urine

  • urological cancer care for:

  • removal of kidney stones (stone disease) and emergency stone care

  • community outreach programme

  • paediatric (children's) urology

  • robotic prostatectomy

  • perioperative care for older people undergoing surgery (POPS)

  • enhanced recovery after surgery programme.
